Bill Pere was named one of the "Top 50 Innovators, Iconoclasts, Groundbreakers, and Guiding Lights of the Music Industry" by Music Connection Magazine. The New York Times calls him "The link between science and music". Bill is an internationally published writer and recording artist, having worked with top music industry figures for almost 30 years. Best known as a lyricist, song critiquer, producer, and educator, Bill speaks and performs at music workshops and conferences across the U.S. His "Songcrafters' Coloring Book: The Essential Guide to Effective and Successful Songwriting" quickly became a standard reference book. Bill is President of the Connecticut Songwriters Association and Director of the Connecticut Songwriting Academy. He founded L.U.N.C.H., using the power of popular music to produce positive social action, producing shows which have raised almost $1,000,000 for social services. Bill was appointed in 1995 as an Official CT State Troubadour by the CT Commission on the Arts, and named was named 2003 IMC Independent Artist of the Year. Bill has recorded 16 original CD's, and works with many aspiring artists as a career and talent development coach.
